What we collect

Only what the waitlist form sends when you submit it:

• Your email address. The one you type in. Nothing else is asked for — no name, no company, no phone number.
• Which page you signed up from. Stored as a tag such as job_interviews, so the first email you get is about the thing you actually came for rather than a generic announcement.
• The referring page. The standard Referer header your browser sends, passed on to our email provider so we can tell which pages bring people in.

What we don’t collect

This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and embeds no advertising or social tracking pixels. Fonts are served from this domain rather than a third party, so simply reading these pages reports nothing about you to anyone. If you never submit the form, we never learn you were here.

Who processes it

• Kit (kit.com, formerly ConvertKit) stores the mailing list and sends the emails. Your address, tag, and referrer are held there.
• Vercel hosts the site and keeps short-lived server logs, which include IP addresses, as any web server does.

Your address is never sold, rented, or passed to anyone beyond those two processors.

What we’ll send you

An email when the module you signed up for is ready, plus the free material promised on that page. Occasionally something genuinely useful about the same topic. Every email carries a one-click unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you from everything.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you what we hold, correct it, or delete it outright, at any time and without giving a reason. Write to hello@workreadyjapanese.com and we’ll action it. If you’re in the UK, EU, or Japan, the applicable legal basis is your consent — given when you submitted the form, and withdrawable by unsubscribing.

We keep your address until you unsubscribe or ask for deletion, or until the project is wound up, whichever comes first.

Changes

If what we collect changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top moves. Material changes to how we use existing addresses will be emailed to the list rather than quietly published here.
